My Story
Founder’s story
Part I: The fall
Divorce. Homelessness. And then, navigating through the tumultuous waters of andropause and ADHD hitting at the same time when life was asking me to start over. I’ve been knocked down more times than I can count.
I’m 62 now. A 14-year Navy veteran. A Hispanic American who has lived through exactly the kind of rock bottom this brand is named for—the overlooked, overlapping transitions that don’t show up neatly on a chart, but shape every part of your days and nights.
Part II: The rise
What I didn’t expect was that rising wasn’t a single moment—it was slow, unglamorous, hidden, and it happened again and again, every time I thought I was finally finished. The Phoenix isn’t a metaphor I chose because it sounded good. It’s the actual shape of my life.
I built this brand from that place—not theory, but having walked through exactly what I’m now helping others walk through: the intersection of ADHD, andropause, retirement, and life after work. If you’re in your own version of rock bottom right now, I see you. I’ve been there. And I’m still rising.
